About Cindy Burns

Cindy started sewing clothing as a teen but left it when family, school and work got in the way.  Around 2008 she started quilting when prodded by a friend.  A class at Patricia’s started friendships that lead to GVQC membership where she has worked with Comfort Quilts and also QuiltFest vendors.  Although starting with traditional quilts, branching into modern quilts, art quilts remain a favorite of Cindy’s.

About CJ Delles

CJ was also introduced to clothing sewing at a young age, but abandoned it due to time commitments and lack of skill (or patience).  Although admiring quilts, time didn’t allow for the hobby until retirement a few years ago when her sister loaned her a sewing machine and pushed her to a beginner class at Ivy Thimble.  Five machines and a room full of fabric later she admits she has an addiction.
