Spring Fling

Nick began quilting in 2008. His sister is an avid quilter and for all the years she quilted, she never made a bed quilt for him. Nick had been sewing for years so he went to his sister and asked her to teach him the basics of quilting. Thus the journey began.

Nick’s greatest fascination in quilting is longarming. He purchased a used longarm machine and began his journey. He knows he is nowhere near understanding what this machine can do but loves the exploration.

Prior to quilting Nick made his living as a musician. He taught vocal music for 33 years and is now enjoying time performing and working on redeveloping his own voice.
