Pictured below are Lisa Feor and Paula Melino, Co-Chairs of the 2006
                                          "Magical Threads....A Stitch in Time"
                                           Quilt Show.

They are pictured in front of the
Lovely Prize Ribbons that Chris Wickert
and her group made out of the leftover
quilt blocks from the Raffle Quilt!
What awesome Prize Ribbons they are!

                                           Lisa made every Committee Chair
                                           a lovely Embroidered Quilted Heart
                                           Name Badge to wear.
We all wonder when Lisa sleeps!
Elena Donegan, is our very own
"Love & Comfort Quilt Project" Shining Star.

Elena has made 92 quilts
since September 2005 for our
"Love & Comfort Quilt Project"!

Elena is a generous and warm hearted
quilter who really helps wrap those less
fortunate in the Love and Comfort
 we all deserve.

I am sure her children
are proud to call her mom!
Here at the Genesee Valley Quilt Club,
Members take their
"Pattern Procurement Procedures"
(aka quilt pattern shopping) seriously,
this is necessary to fulfill their
"Personal Pattern Priorities
Procurement Possibilities"

Note Expert Stash Builders:
Ann Bohonos and Evelyn Pengelly
perusing patterns for  purchase.

Everyone wanted Annette's Patterns,  Poor Annette, she
went home nearly empty handed!  As opposed to our
members and guests who were happily carrying home their
new additions to their pattern stash!  Stay tuned to the
coming months photo albums to see who made what!

Annette Ornelas was our Guest Speaker this month!
She was a dynamic speaker, presenting each piecing
person!  Sharing all the great details of every quilt
project.  Even with the details she managed to inject
humor and fun into her trunk show that was
priceless!  What a great time we all had!
                                         Annette is a wonderful speaker!

Here is a lovely quilt made by Lois Mae E. Kuh,
she had such a hard time lugging this huge quilt
to show and tell.

(Really it is a small quilt that measures about 24
by 24, correct me if I am wrong Lois.)

Don't you just love how she fussy cut each and
every little  persons face?
